    September Favourites

Another quick month. Don’t quite remember how I felt during it. It got colder, darker earlier, all the while I was doing the same old things I’ve been doing most of the year: watching things, staying home, scrolling online. I will need to make sure I spend October prioritising my mental health, because I can slowly feel myself getting into a slump. Here is what I liked: Once Said… videos I don’t know if this trend is still happening, but for a week I was really laughing at the ‘X once said…’ videos on Twitter. I love the Succession Tom Wambsgans once said, The Umbrella Academy Diego Hargreeves Once Said ones…

    August Favourites

I’m writing this while on hold on the phone. I’ve been on hold for 40 minutes so far and it perfectly represents how I feel about life right now. Everything is just on hold. In August I’ve tried to do a few more ‘normal’ things which is definitely helping, but I’m still feeling like I’m waiting to be able to do things properly again. I’m slowly doing different things, seeing my social bubble infrequently, trying to do nice things round the house. But it’s not the same. When will it go back to normal? This is what I liked and loved during another month in lockdown. Atypical I watched a lot of TV this month. Mostly shows that my sister has been telling me to watch for years, like Atypical on Netflix. It’s…

    June Favourites

Groundhog day has officially settled in. I don’t remember what the day it is. Lock down rules are easing, but there’s still not an awful lot to do apart from watch TV and films, and play games. I could clean, but no one wants to clean in a pandemic! These are some things I’ve dedicated time to in June, that isn’t cleaning. Schitt’s Creek Early on in the month I finally finished watching the incredible Schitt’s Creek (on Netflix in the U.K.). I think my life will be forever changed because of this progressive and loving town, created by Dan Levy. The characters are written exceptionally, even if they’re a…
