    April Favourites

    If I thought March was a weird month, April came along and was weirder! Not leaving my house for anything other than groceries and a walk around the block has started to become boring and lonely. I miss friends and family. I miss driving. I miss going out. The safety of my friends and family, and everyone else, is the most important though. Staying in is the best thing we can do at the moment. If I have to find books, games, film, tv, music and more to do instead, then I guess I won’t run out of content for my monthly favourites!     March Favourites

    So…March was something. Especially the last half, which was scary, confusing, anxiety-inducing, lonely, and most of all: different. It’s weird not being able to do 80% of the things you usually do. I want to keep in a routine as best I can, like sticking to these little monthly lists of mine. As anticipated, there’s a lot of shows, books, music, and other things that I enjoyed this month because there wasn’t really anything else to do with my free time while I’m social-distancing.     February Favourites

    February was a funny old month. I struggled with restlessness towards the end and I have no idea why. I’m working on getting myself out of this restless rut though. If doing these lists has taught me anything, it’s that if I ever feel down during a month I know I will feel better soon.     January Favourites

    Doing these little lists gives me something to look back on at the end of the year, so I’m going to keep it up through 2020. I want future me to know that this month of January felt incredibly long. It dragged. There were good things about this month, like the new routines I started which I hope to continue for the rest of the year. I also liked these things: Succession The first time something has made two of my monthly favourites, which feels very Succession-y. Season 2 though is exceptional television.
