October 2023 Favourites
Watching
Film
- Dumb Money (2023) – Really enjoyed this. Entertaining. Paul Dano always fab, but nice to see him not so weird.
- Boy (2010)
- Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (2023)
- Clue (1985) – More films about board games, please.
Television
- Taskmaster series 16 (2023) – My love of this series is Sam Campbell. Every word out of his mouth is hilarious.
- Gen V (2023) – Hope it sticks landing with the finale. One of my favourite shows of the year.
- Our Flag Means Death – season 1 (2022) – Haven’t finished yet, but glad I finally started this.
Reading
I’m currently in the middle of two books I’m enjoying, more next month when I hope to have finished them:
- Pageboy by Elliot Page
- The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins
- An Exhaustive Timeline of Gigi Hadid and Leo DiCaprio Appearing Together in the Same Sentence (And Not Many Other Places) – Hunter Harris’ piece de resistance. I’m not even a huge Leo/Gigi fan but this is enthralling.
